As a newly established Navigating Advocacy for Meaningful Education, our first community campaign is focused on raising $10,000 to directly support families across Baltimore City, surrounding counties, and communities throughout Maryland who are navigating special education systems without adequate access or guidance.
Every contribution supports real, tangible advocacy and education services, including:
$75 to support one individualized tutoring or academic support session aligned to a student’s learning needs
$100 to fund one family advocacy meeting to help caregivers prepare for or follow up after an IEP or 504 meeting
$200 to provide a full IEP or 504 Plan analysis, offering families clarity around services, accommodations, and next steps
These services help families gain confidence, reduce financial barriers, and access the support they need to advocate effectively for their children, allowing us to strengthen inclusive education practices and build advocacy that outlives us.
